Polishing

  • A flat polished edge delivers a clean, minimal look that suits modern interiors perfectly. This straight, glossy edge gives the glass a refined finish, removing all sharpness while reflecting light for a premium aesthetic. Ideal for frameless applications like shelves, balustrades, mirrors, and table tops.

  • Designed for high-traffic areas, public spaces, and installations where safety is a priority. This edge combines arrissing (to remove sharpness) with additional polishing to ensure smooth contact and reduce injury risk. Ideal for schools, gyms, offices, and anywhere glass may be exposed or within reach.

  • Ideal for busy environments and exposed edges, this polished finish is engineered for strength and longevity. The edges are smoothed and reinforced to help prevent chips, cracks, and impact damage — making it perfect for table tops, glass partitions, gym mirrors, and public installations.

  • A practical, cost-effective finish where the sharp corners are smoothed for safety. While not as glossy as other polishes, it’s suitable for glass being framed or installed into structures where the edge won’t be visible, like sealed units or structural glass.

Laminated Glass

  • Laminated glass consists of two or more layers of glass bonded together with a tough interlayer, typically PVB. Even when broken, the glass holds together – offering superior safety, sound insulation, and UV protection. It's ideal for areas demanding extra performance and peace of mind.

    🛡️ Shatter-Resistant Safety

If broken, the interlayer keeps the glass intact, preventing dangerous shards from scattering – making it perfect for overhead glazing, public areas, schools, and shopfronts.

  • The interlayer also reduces noise transmission, making laminated glass an excellent choice for sound-sensitive environments like homes near busy roads, offices, studios, and hotels.

  • Blocks up to 99% of harmful UV rays, helping to prevent fading of furnishings, artwork, carpets, and interiors.

  • Acts as a physical barrier against break-ins – hard to penetrate even when damaged, offering time and resistance against forced entry.

    • Shopfronts & security doors

    • Roof glazing & overhead glass

    • Schools, public buildings & transport hubs

    • Sound-sensitive areas

    • Display cases & museums

    • Juliet balconies & balustrades

UV Bonding

  • UV bonding allows glass panels to be joined edge-to-edge without visible hardware, creating ultra-clean, frameless structures. Using a clear, high-strength UV-curing adhesive, we deliver flawless joints that are practically invisible — ideal for premium design applications.

    • Perfect for frameless glass boxes, showcases & display units

    • No brackets, screws, or visible fixings

    • Optically clear bonds with precision alignment

  • Ideal for luxury retail environments, jewellery shops, museums, and galleries. UV bonding is the preferred method for creating high-end glass plinths, trophy cases, shelving units, and countertop displays, where visual clarity and durability are essential.

    • Trusted by retailers & designers

    • Elegant and strong enough for commercial use

    • Used for glass cabinets, POS displays, and pedestals

  • Despite the minimal look, UV bonded joints are incredibly strong. The adhesive cures under UV light to form a solid, long-lasting bond suitable for everyday use — even under load. Our bonding process meets the strength and alignment requirements for both residential and commercial environments.

    • High-load capacity joints

    • Shock-resistant and safe for transport

    • Bonds toughened, low iron, and laminated glass

  • From unique glass furniture and collector’s boxes to architectural details and awards, UV bonding allows us to create bespoke, one-off designs tailored to your needs. Whether it’s a small plinth or a fully bonded unit, we provide precision work with a flawless finish.

    • Custom sizes, shapes & design features

    • Perfect for trophies, awards & ornaments

    • Bonding available with mirrored or tinted glass

Drilling

  • We use twin-head CNC machines to drill from both sides of the glass to reduce breakage and ensure perfectly clean edges.

    • Hole sizes from 6mm to 100mm+

    • Ideal for hinges, fixings, screws, and patch fittings

    • Smooth, accurate edges – no chips or stress cracks

    • Suitable for toughened and laminated glass

  • CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines allow for highly accurate placement of holes and complex layouts.

    • Perfect for bespoke glass products, including mirrors, splashbacks, and partitions

    • Custom cutouts for electrical sockets, shower fixings, taps, or ironmongery

    • High-speed, low-stress drilling to maintain glass strength

  • For thicker or more intricate glass requirements, we use high-pressure water jet cutting for larger or unusual shapes.

    • Handles glass up to 19mm thick

    • Smooth and burr-free holes or custom cut profiles

    • Suitable for art pieces, table tops, complex glazing setups

    • Ideal when extreme precision or large radius holes are needed

  • We also drill larger holes for ventilation grills, extractor fans, and pet door installations (such as cat flaps), with fittings often done on-site.

    • Cut while you wait options available for smaller holes

    • Large circular cutouts up to 300mm+ available

    • Suitable for kitchens, conservatories, utility rooms

    • Pet flap glass preparation also available with template matching

Hole Cutting & Circle Cutting

  • We custom cut glass panels to accommodate cat flaps, dog doors, and pet access systems — typically in doors or side panels. All shapes and sizes are considered, and we’ll advise on the best approach depending on the glass type.

    • Common in patio doors, conservatories, and garden rooms

    • Available as part of a new toughened sealed unit

    • Pre-cut before toughening — not available on existing toughened panels

    • Templated and measured to suit the specific flap model

  • Need ventilation? We cut large circular or rectangular openings in glass for extractor fans, passive vents, or louvred systems, typically in bathrooms, kitchens, or utility areas.

    • Sized and shaped for most extractor fan models

    • Cut into float glass or double-glazed units before toughening

    • Ideal for domestic and commercial refurbishments

    • In-situ replacement and survey available

  • For existing single-glazed float glass, we can often cut a circular or shaped opening on site using specialist tools — avoiding the need to fully replace the glass.

    • Fast turnaround for urgent pet access or vent solutions

    • Not suitable for toughened or laminated glass

    • Often used in garages, sheds, greenhouses, or older windows

    • Risk-assessed on a per-job basis to avoid cracking

  • All new glass with cutouts is professionally finished and supplied ready to fit — with polished internal edges, correct spacing from glass edges, and optional double glazing with matching spacer bars for sealed units.

    • Ideal for modern energy-efficient homes

    • Sealed units with factory-applied cutouts

    • Range of glass types available: clear, satin, low iron, or tinted

    • Fixings and accessories supplied where needed

Bevelled Edge Glass

  • Bevelled edges are a popular finishing option that adds sophistication and a visual upgrade to mirrors, partitions, table tops, and decorative panels. Often seen in high-end interiors, heritage properties, and statement pieces, bevelled glass reflects light at an angle, creating a subtle prism effect that enhances depth and atmosphere.

    🖼️ Elegant & Decorative

A bevelled finish adds an upscale touch, transforming standard glass into a decorative feature. Commonly used on bathroom mirrors, wardrobe panels, entrance hall features, and antique-style installations.

  • The angled surface of the bevel catches natural and artificial light beautifully. This effect enhances the sense of space and luxury, particularly in rooms where mirrors are used to bounce light and visually expand the area.

  • While visually striking, all bevels are professionally polished to meet safety standards. The gradual slope eliminates sharp edges, making them suitable for homes, hotels, and busy environments.

  • We offer bevel widths ranging from 6mm to over 40mm, depending on the glass size and intended use. This allows full creative control for interior designers, architects, and homeowners looking to match a specific aesthetic or replicate a period feature.

Back Painted Glass

  • With a seamless, non-porous surface, back painted glass is a hygienic and ultra-low maintenance alternative to tiles. No grout lines, no mould — just a smooth surface that wipes clean in seconds.

    • Stain-resistant and bacteria-resistant

    • Ideal for food prep areas, bathrooms, salons, and clinics

    • Effortless upkeep with standard household cleaners

  • Tailor your back painted glass to any interior with virtually unlimited colour options. From vibrant RAL shades to soft neutrals and metallic tones, Hamilton Glass provides precision colour-matching and bespoke finishes, including matte, satin, high-gloss, or metallic flake effects.

    • Perfect for splashbacks, wall cladding, reception panels, and signage

    • Available in standard or low iron glass for true colour clarity

    • Edge-polishing and cut-outs available for sockets, taps, and fixings

    • Suitable for domestic and commercial applications

    • Withstands heat from hobs and warm environments without discolouration

    • Long-lasting colour stability and edge-seal protection

  • Unlike basic painted glass, Hamilton Glass uses a purpose-formulated paint that chemically bonds to the glass. This ensures superior adhesion, long-term durability, and resistance to wear — making it a professional-grade product suitable for both homes and commercial builds.

    • Self-etching properties enhance bond strength and longevity

    • Compatible with toughened safety glass for high-use environments

    • Ideal for use in high-traffic or high-moisture zones

Toughened Glass

  • Toughened (or tempered) glass is up to five times stronger than standard glass, offering enhanced safety and performance without compromising on appearance. It’s the go-to choice for high-traffic, high-risk, or design-led environments where both durability and compliance matter.

    💪 High Strength & Durability

Manufactured through a controlled thermal process, toughened glass is highly resistant to impact, pressure, and stress. Ideal for shelves, doors, balustrades, table tops, partitions, and shopfronts.

  • When broken, toughened glass shatters into small blunt fragments, reducing the risk of serious injury. Fully compliant with BS EN 12150 and building regulations, it’s essential for all critical glazing zones.

  • Withstands sudden temperature changes and intense heat – making it suitable for cooker splashbacks, log burners, stove surrounds, and external glazing.

Sand Blasted Glass

  • Frosted through a sandblasting process, the glass diffuses light while obscuring direct visibility — making it ideal for bathrooms, office partitions, meeting rooms, and entrance areas. You get both privacy and natural light without the need for blinds or curtains.

    • Full or partial frosting options

    • One-way diffusion for daylight use

    • Great alternative to window film for long-term privacy

  • Sandblasted glass is the perfect way to incorporate logos, patterns, text, or bespoke artwork into glazing. Whether it’s a frosted house number, corporate branding, or intricate design work, Hamilton Glass can turn standard glass into a stunning decorative feature.

    • Logos, graphics, text & bespoke patterns

    • Ideal for doors, partitions, reception panels, and signage

    • Available on mirrors, laminated glass, or toughened glass
